You may recall that I’m a big fan of Samsung televisions. Well, my positive experience with those models made me decide to check out their Samsung DVD Players when it came time to purchase a new one for my family’s home theater system.
Upscaling Technology
As you possibly already know, televisions are being changed over to HDTV models in the United States because of the large switch from analog. So, one of the effects of that change is that normal DVDs just aren’t going to seem as astounding as normal HDTV programming on your TV.
Now you could upgrade to a Blu-Ray player (Samsung sells one for about $200 through Amazon) but that would require converting your entire DVD collection as well.

Since the ThinkPad T61, the power consumption issue while at suspend status trouble me a lot. Consumption about 8% to 12% only one night suspend. Although my battery is only used as UPS, but the signal of total charge and discharge make me headache. This never happened when I used thinkpad T40 before.
