Voice Recognition Software – Do You Need It?

If you weren’t already aware of it, Windows 7 comes with its own voice recognition software. While some people are able to use this software easily, others are having quite a difficult time with it. It seems that a lot depends on the microphone and audio system you’re using.

A lot of people have reported that even after working with the program and tweaking it, they just had no luck getting it to work properly for them. The time spent fixing mistakes was just not worth the effort of using the program.

Dragon Naturally Speaking is the most common program and probably the best. It allows you to work with the software so that it gets to know your own voice and the way you pronounce words.
