Apple New iPod Nano 5G Review

When I first meet Apple new iPod nano, I really like the new 5G model – it’s amazing ! here are are first impressions of the brand-new fifth-generation iPod nano with video, FM radio and built-in pedometer. It’s available in 8 and 16GB. UK pricing is £115 and £135 respectively.

After doing some research of the new iPod nano, I will review the new 5G iPod nano from its hardware and software below.

The hardware:

First, The new player has a larger 2.2-inch screen, though you’ll be hard-pushed to see the difference with the old model.

In terms of shooting video, the new nano adds an integrated mic and speaker as well as the camera itself integrated thus:

Here’s the camera roll menu…

The coolest bit of the camera is the real-time effects such as Thermal, Film Grain, Kaleido and X-Ray.This was demoed to great effect by our enthusiastic host, although don’t expect miracles - these are just fun little effects.

The integrated pedometer and Nike+iPod features also integrate seamlessly….

The software:

Genius Mixes: Making music mixes has never been easier. Because now Genius does it for you ;

FM radio + Live Pause. Return of the radio star: Rock out with the new FM tuner. And two innovative features — Live Pause and iTunes Tagging — make it smarter than the average radio;

VoiceOver: speaks the names of songs and artists. So you can navigate your music without looking at the screen ;

Note to self: The built-in mic lets you capture a thought, a reminder, a class lecture, or any audio recording you want with Voice Memos.

Finally, All these additions combine with the iPod nano’s exquisite interface to make this a worthy successor to the best selling MP3 player in history. Sure, there’s little here to improve its actual music-playing abilities, but when Apple has made such a supreme job of refining them over the previous four generations it hardly needs too.

PS: Daniusoft DVD to iPod converter – Help you view various DVD movies on your new iPod nano
